  17. The Series 3 Screens Filter introduces new concepts associated with screening a gray scale image. Some of these concepts may be new to you. We recommend that you go through the Series 3 Quickstart Tutorial. It should take only 10 minutes ... a good investment of your time.

  21. Series 3 Screens brings to the desktop, for the first time, high quality special effect software screening for gray scale images.

  23. INSTALLATION OF SERIES 3 SCREENS DEMO FILTER IN ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

  25. 1. Drag the file "ASI Screens Demo" into the "Filters" folder on your hard disk. The "Filters" folder is normally found in the "Plug-ins" folder in your "Adobe Photoshop 3.0" folder.
  26. Note that for versions of Photoshop prior to 3.0, move the filter to the "Plug-Ins" folder. The "Plug-ins" folder is in your "Adobe Photoshop 2.5.1" folder.

  28. 2. Drag the file "Andromeda Screens Prefs" to the Preferences folder inside your System folder. (System Folder is on your desktop).
  29. 3. Restart Adobe Photoshop™ (or Premiere™).

  31. "ASI Screens Demo" will show in the "Andromeda" sub-menu under the "Filter" menu. It is enabled when a RGB, CMYK or Grayscale image is open. The Demo. filter will run on any 68030/68040 Macintosh or PowerMac.

Series 3 Screens filter may also be used with Adobe Premiere™, Fractal Painter™, Equilibrium's DeBabelizer™, Ray Dream Jag II™, MicroFrontier Color It!™ and other host applications that accept Photoshop plug-ins. Please call Andromeda Software Inc, Technical Support at 805 379 4109 for questions regarding compatibility with other host applications.
